CaT Bobino is the Founder of My STEM Ed, a groundbreaking virtual education program that brings diverse STEM professionals directly into classrooms across the nation. Through live, interactive talks tailored for elementary, middle, and high school students, My STEM Ed is reshaping how young people access science role models. Supported by her nonprofit, Communications in STEM, CaT is working to bridge educational gaps by ensuring under-resourced schools have access to these experiences. Her current mission is to expand My STEM Ed to reach 100 schools and 25 districts, with the long-term goal of engaging 50,000 students worldwide.

Alongside this work, CaT is the author of the acclaimed children’s series “Carter Can Be,” which introduces young readers to STEM fields through the adventures of her son and his friends. She has also published STEM activity books and resources to help families explore science together. These works build on her lifelong commitment to making STEM accessible, joyful, and representative of diverse communities.

Previously, CaT served as an executive for NASA Astronaut Dr. Yvonne Cagle, supporting leadership transitions and public engagement. She has also hosted STEM-focused programs for families, appeared on television and radio as a STEM Ambassador, and created platforms to highlight the voices of underrepresented scientists.

Her early career blended wildlife biology and science communication, where she developed a focus on human–wildlife interactions and community engagement. Over time, this passion evolved into a larger mission: to demystify STEM, diversify representation, and inspire the next generation.

CaT’s vision is rooted in leadership, equity, and innovation. Whether through storytelling, education, or media, she continues to amplify voices, create opportunities, and build pathways for families and students to see themselves in science.
